
Project Description
Built in 1704, the Coltea Hospital is the first hospital in Bucharest.
Being an architectural assembly, in Brancovenesc style, with a special historical value, lying on 14,500 sqm, it was restored between 2000-2011.
As regards the works for the reinstatement of this old Romanian architecture treasure, in the period 2006-2011, the company AUSTRODACH PROFILE SRL, carried out the full restoration of the roof, including the rebuilding of the towers on the wings from the front side of the building, towers that were destroyed in the Second World War.
The successful restoration works of the buildings in this assembly, in which an important role is played by the roof aspect, makes Colţea Hospital to be, basides a modern hospital, also an important tourist attraction in the old center of the capital of Romania
